EDECS Unveils Ambitious Expansion Plans in Transforming Transportation at TransMEA 2023

(Cairo, Egypt – Nov, 2023) – EDECS, a leading Egyptian engineering and construction company, presented its transportation innovations at the fifth edition of the TransMEA
exhibition 2023, held under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Ministry of Transport.

 

EDECS highlighted significant achievements in various completed and ongoing projects. "The company is currently implementing the October Gardens High-Speed Rail Station (HSR) and the New Administrative Capital Station for the extension of the light rail train (LRT), in addition to a number of other transportation projects in several other areas," said Hussein El-Desouki, Chairman of EDECS International Engineering and Contracting Company.

Further remarked, "We are pleased to announce the successful completion and delivery of the multi-purpose Tahya Masr Terminal project at Alexandria Port, accomplished within a span of 30 months. Presently, our company is actively engaged in executing the 1800-meter Dakheila Port project, as part of the Ministry of Transport's ambitious plan to establish the Great Alexandria Port. This strategic port will serve as the primary gateway to the Mediterranean Sea for European and American ports."
