Role Overview:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to support the effective planning, management, and optimization of our investment portfolio. The Investment Analyst will analyze potential investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and assist in the execution of investment transactions. 
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, leadership capabilities, and strategic thinking.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling for investment opportunities, including proficiency in valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
  • Assist in the due diligence process, conducting thorough market research, financial statement analysis, and industry analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Experience / knowledge of leveraged buyouts, debt restructuring, and equity raises.
  • Analyze opportunities in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM).
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and persuasive communication of investment rationale.
  • Support the execution of investment transactions by coordinating with external advisors and managing transaction documentation, while ensuring compliance with financial and statutory regulations.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as return on investment (ROI) and contribution to deal flow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development and strategic initiatives, including direct involvement in strategic decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to ongoing market research and industry analysis to proactively inform the investment strategy. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

 

  • 1-2 years of experience in private equity or investment banking with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or similar professional qualifications are a plus.
  • Expertise in the construction or infrastructure sector is preferred, with a solid understanding of corporate finance and investment principles.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Full expertise with such Microsoft Office, and other relevant financial software.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in addressing changing priorities and resolving complex issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a focus on clear and effective presentation of complex information.
