Role Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Senior Business Application Support professional to join our team.
This role involves providing comprehensive software application support and contributing to the enhancement and functionality of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Application Support: Provide software application support under the supervision of the Senior Engineer.
- Functionality Analysis: Perform analyses on software application functionality and suggest improvements.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications and consult with the software development team, internal users, and clients to enhance application performance.
- Code Migration Management: Manage code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
- Error Identification and Escalation: Establish root causes of application errors and escalate serious concerns to the Senior Engineer.
- Configuration Management: Keep a record of configuration changes and schedule application updates.
- Front-End Support: Provide front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.
- ERP Project Implementation: Contribute to the successful implementation of previous ERP projects.
- Business Requirement Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into system requirements.
- SDLC Participation: Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- ERP Administration: Administer Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP to ensure optimal performance.
- User Support and Best Practices: Support end users and provide best practice methods to enhance the business cycle.
- Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for end users on system functionality.
- Report Design: Design reports using SSRS, Power BI, or Management Reporting Services in MS D365.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Discuss business requirements and implement solutions in MS D365 ERP.
