Role Overview:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team.

This role will play a critical part in shaping our financial strategy and supporting key business decisions through detailed analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Database Management: Manage and maintain databases of financial records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • P&L / GL Data Integrity: Conduct thorough checks on Profit and Loss (P&L) and General Ledger (GL) data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Variance Analysis: Identify and research variances in forecasts, budgets, and prior-year expenses, proactively uncovering opportunities for improvement. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Month-End Closing: Monitor month-end closing processes, expertly analyze trial balances, and reallocate expenses across departments and projects.
  • Financial Reporting: Create financial analysis reports and models. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and performance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather relevant data and provide financial insights to support FP&A initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in financial databases and reporting tools.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience in variance analysis and financial modeling.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
