Project Overview

The Construction of Control Gates & Barrages of Bahr Al-Baqar Drain project in Egypt, led by EDECS, entails the construction of 3 wastewater regulating penstock stations designed to manage a flow of 5 million m³/day. These stations, featuring double steel gates and maintenance cranes, are strategically located along the Bahr Al-Baqar Drain. Components include the Cross Regulator Penstock station on the old Drain 7,500 m3 of reinforced concrete for 7 vents, the Intake Regulator Penstock station 3,500 m3 of reinforced concrete for 4 vents, and the Cross Regulator Penstock station with a weir on the New Drain 6,200 m3 of reinforced concrete for 5 vents.
