Project Overview
At EDECS, we take pride in overseeing the project at Ras Al-Khair Seaport, Saudi Arabia, where our expertise is showcased through dredging operations, construction of a substantial gravity-type quay wall, and meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the endeavor. The project at Ras Al-Khair Seaport involves dredging over 3.5 million cubic meters to level the basin and trenches, with reclamation exceeding 1.5 million cubic meters. Additionally, a 900-meter-long, 18-meter-deep gravity-type quay wall will be constructed using concrete blocks weighing up to 120 tons each. Other tasks include building a jetty for a 500-ton crane, soil improvement, and for Quay Wall foundation under a Design & Build contract, the project spanned 29 months, starting in July 2014 and completed in December 2016.
