Project Overview
EDECS leads the High-Speed Rail Viaduct in Hadayek October – Giza, erecting a state-of-the-art railway spanning 1750 km, capable of reaching speeds up to 250 km/hr. The project encompasses Bridgeworks, which entail 16,000 m of piling, extended wires for retaining wall backs, and a primary bridge structure constructed with 40,000 m3 of precast prestressed concrete girders and deck slab. Moreover, Track embankment works involve excavation, backfilling, laying base layers, and installing 30,000 m2 of concrete slab. Access road development includes establishing base and asphalt layers, while road and earthworks consist of excavation, reinforced panels, retaining walls, road base, and two layers of asphalt, as well as the installation of traffic signs, curbs, and barriers.
